# Connect CRE Agents to ChatGPT

Connect CRE Agents to ChatGPT: turn on Developer mode, create a connector with our MCP address, and sign in. Then ask Vic for real CRE work.

**You need:** a ChatGPT account that can use Developer mode, and your CRE Agents email.

## Step by step

1. **Turn on Developer mode.** In ChatGPT, go to **Settings**, then **Apps**, then [Advanced settings](https://chatgpt.com/apps#settings/Connectors/Advanced), and turn on **Developer mode**.

2. **Create the connector.** Under Advanced settings, click **Create** and paste the name and URL below.

3. Leave authentication as **OAuth**, check the "I understand" box, and click **Create**.

4. **Sign in.** ChatGPT shows a "Sign in to CRE Agents (Vic)" screen. Click it and sign in with your email and the code we send.

Copy these exactly:

- **Name:** `CRE Agents (Vic)`
- **Connection URL:** `https://app.creagents.com/api/mcp`
- **Icon (optional):** https://docs.creagents.com/img/brand/crea-icon-small.png

## Have your AI do it

On the portal's Connect page, the **Have your AI do it** box has a ready-made prompt. Click **Open in ChatGPT**, or copy it and paste it into ChatGPT, and it walks you through one step at a time.

## Check that it worked

Start a new chat in ChatGPT and type:

> Use Vic to show me what you can do.

In the portal, ChatGPT now shows up on **Connected AIs** in the left menu.
