Connect CRE Agents to Grok

You need: a Grok account and your CRE Agents email.

Step by step

1. In Grok, go to Connectors, click New Connector, then Custom.

2. Paste the Name and Server URL below exactly as given, then click Add Connector.

3. Sign in. A CRE Agents sign-in window opens. Sign in with your CRE Agents email (a six digit code arrives by email) and approve.

4. Test it. Back in a Grok chat, say “Use Vic” to confirm it’s connected.

Copy the name exactly. The "(Vic)" is what lets you call on it later with "Use Vic".

On a Grok Business or Enterprise plan?

A team admin adds CRE Agents (Vic) once in the xAI console, under Grok Business, then Connectors, Add Connector, Other, using the server URL. After that, each teammate connects it at grok.com/connectors and signs in with their own CRE Agents email. On a personal Grok account, you do it yourself with the steps above.

Have your AI do it

On the portal’s Connect page, the Have your AI do it box has a ready-made prompt. Copy it and paste it into Grok, and it walks you through one step at a time.

Check that it worked

Start a new chat in Grok and type:

Use Vic to show me what you can do.

In the portal, Grok now shows up on Connected AIs in the left menu.
