Connect CRE Agents to ChatGPT

You need: a ChatGPT account that can use Developer mode, and your CRE Agents email.

Step by step

1. Turn on Developer mode. In ChatGPT, go to Settings, then Apps, then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode.

2. Create the connector. Under Advanced settings, click Create and paste the name and URL below.

3. Leave authentication as OAuth, check the “I understand” box, and click Create.

4. Sign in. ChatGPT shows a “Sign in to CRE Agents (Vic)” screen. Click it and sign in with your email and the code we send.

Copy the name exactly. The "(Vic)" is what lets you call on it later with "Use Vic".

Have your AI do it

On the portal’s Connect page, the Have your AI do it box has a ready-made prompt. Click Open in ChatGPT, or copy it and paste it into ChatGPT, and it walks you through one step at a time.

Check that it worked

Start a new chat in ChatGPT and type:

Use Vic to show me what you can do.

In the portal, ChatGPT now shows up on Connected AIs in the left menu.
